**Please excuse photo quality.  Phone camera was used.

I've made daily misting a little easier..Call me lazy but now all I have to do is push a "button" and my Veiled Chameleon gets rained on!

I will list the step by step instructions to make a misting system for around 25$ total price.

Items list:                                 Cost $
Garden sprayer                            15.00
Teflon tape                                    1.00
10'vinyl ID hose 3/8x1/4 0.22/ft      2.20
-(clear tubing)
Male 1/4x3/8 ID hose barb             2.88
Female 1/4x3/8 ID hose barb         2.88
-OR 3/8x3/8
Total:                                 Around 25.00$

(all of these products can be purchased at a hardware or home improvement store.  I got the sprayer at Wal-Mart)

First disassemble the sprayer.

Unscrew the mist nozzle from the wand thats connected to the handle And lay it to the side for later use.

unscrew the part of the hose that connects to the tank.

Take the hose off of the thing its connected to that has the stem that goes inside the tank on it.

Take the black screw on thing off of the hose and put it to the side.

remove the wand extension.

Unscrew the round thing that connects the other end of the hose to the handle
Picture
Now pull the hose off of the handle. lay the hose to the side.
Picture
Now to put it back together with the new hose and fittings.

Take the new hose and cut a 30" piece off of it.(You dont have to do this if you were able to purchase the 1/4x3/8 female fittiing.
you can use the original hose that you laid to the side in the previous step)

Take the 30" piece and push it up on the nipple of the male brass fitting(the male has threads on the outside Female has threads on the inside)..now screw the mist nozzel onto the threads of the male fitting.

This is important
IF YOU HAVE THE 1/4x3/8 FEMALE FITTING, use the other end of the 30"piece of hose and pus it onto the nipple of the female fitting.(again, or the old hose)

IF YOUR HARDWARE STORE DOESNT CARRY THE 1/4x3/8 female and you got 3/8x3/8. find a pen with a pretty large circumference about the size of the nipple.

Find some Vegetable or corn oil for cooking (NOT motor oil or anything like it IT IS TOXIC) and smear it on the pen and push the hose up on the pen(push enough up on it to cover the whole nipple. While its on the pen get a cigarette lighter and heat the hose up making sure not to melt it (this is to stretch the hose and make it larger). then let it cool down and put veg. oil or corn oil on the nipple, pull the hose off the pen and push it up on the nipple of the female connector.

Screw the female end onto the handle.

Picture
Take the long hose and put the black piece from earlier on it threads facing the end of the hose
Picture
Do the same with the small piece off the bottom of the handle.(mine is  gray)
Picture
Push the end with the larger black piece onto the piece with the stem on it.
Picture

Push the other end onto the bottom of the handle
Picture
Screw the small piece tightly onto the handle Where it was at the beginning to hold the hose on.
Picture
Now screw the black piece onto the tank where it was in the beginning.
Picture
You can use Teflon on the brass fitting's threads to seal them up if they leak..Mine did!
Also you can add to this (Hose clamps or zip ties may also need to be used on the brass nipples to control leaks and possible fire hazards)
Picture
Now pump it up and check for leaks and such.

Mount the mist nozzle in top of your cage by drilling a hole the size of the nozzel and pushing it through.

Finished product

You can mount the handle on the wall or wherever convenient,Push and let it rain.

I hope this will help someone...it works excellently for me.
