PLEASE NOTE
The information on the BambooZoo site is as much as 10 years old and in the hobby much has been learned. Though, I believe there is merit in keeping the site open. There are many controversial issues presented in these pages. Please view BambooZoo as a starting point in your research.
These beings are as complicated as we are and deserve more than a basic 5 paragraph care sheet to maintain their health and well being.
My passion has changed. This is where I am today. Change the World.

BASILISKS
The smallest of the 2 Brown Basilisks has lived with B&E all of her life. This one had a hard time living with the second Basilisk or the Green basilisks and was always the brunt of squabbles. She and B&E live very docile lives together. Both very comfortable in the presence of the other. The 2 basilisks died a little older than the 5 year expectancy and were close to 7 years. Although they had lived in separate environments all their lives they died within one month of each other. They were active until the last week of their lives. Neither ever had a health issue.
The Green Basilisk came here as a young adult about 2 years of age and was rehomed at 5 years of age. Once he hit maturity he was very territorial and did not accept a co habitation environment. Including tackling the much larger water dragons. Headbobbing and chasing were observed. No health interventions were ever needed.
